This policy explains what personal information I collect, why, how I look after it, and your rights. I keep it to what's genuinely needed to provide your reading.

What I collect

When you get in touch: your name, email address and anything you include in your message.

When you book: your name, email address and booking details. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. I never see or store your card details.

Your intake form: your intention for the reading and anything else you choose to share.

During your reading: what you share in the session, any notes I make, and a video recording of the session.

When you visit my website: basic technical information such as your browser, device and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics. See Cookies below.

Sensitive information

Readings often touch on personal areas of life, such as health, relationships, sexuality, or religious and spiritual beliefs. The law treats this as special category information and gives it extra protection.

I only collect and use this information with your explicit consent, which you give on your intake form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing me. If you do, I'll stop using the information, but I may not be able to continue with your reading.

I don't sell your information, and I don't use it for automated decision-making.

Who I share it with

I only share your information with trusted services that help me run my business, and only as much as they need:

  • Squarespace: website, contact forms

  • Stripe: payments

  • Google Meet: your session video platform.

  • Google Forms: Intake form.

  • Calendly: Scheduling tool to book your date

  • Flodesk: Email provider

  • Google Drive: Cloud storage, storing and sharing your recording

I may also share information if the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of these services are based outside the UK, for example in the US. Where that's the case, your information is protected by recognised legal safeguards, such as the UK's international data transfer agreements or adequacy regulations.

How long I keep it

  • Booking and payment records: 6 years, as required by HMRC

  • Intake form and session notes: 2 years after your last session

  • Session recording: 30 days, then deleted, so please download your copy

  • Messages that don't lead to a booking: 12 months. After that, I securely delete it.

Keeping it safe

I use secure, password-protected services with two-factor authentication where available, and I limit access to your information to myself.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the information I hold about you

  • correct anything that's wrong

  • ask me to delete your information

  • restrict or object to how I use it

  • receive your information in a portable format

  • withdraw your consent at any time

Cookies

My website uses cookies to make it work and to understand how it's used. Non-essential cookies, such as analytics, are only used with your consent, which you can manage through the cookie banner. [Check that your Squarespace cookie banner is switched on.]

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
